I've finally completed racing and documenting on the site the cars I've acquired over the last 6 months. Here are some highlights:
Some vintage SIKU's. The blue Jaguar XJ6 was a 5-star performer, the heavy VW Transporter was a 3-star car and VW Passat, a disappointing 2-star.
2 hard-to-find Fast & Furious 1/55th Scale cars. Thanks to site friend Jason for finding these. The red '61 Chevy Impala was a 3-star speed car and the black GTX, 2-star. Hoping for more speed, but really nice cars.
Acquired a number of Matchbox Laser Wheels and Superfast from the 80's. The Superfast Nissan 300 ZX Turbo is now a 5-star car. The others could not beat my existing car times.
Some different vintage cars. The heavy Peterbilt Tank Truck was a strong 3-star car, The Ultra Hots Street Scorcher was an upgrade to a 4-star. The Mt Dew Stocker did not perform well and the all-metal Matchbox car was a dud.
Some decent cars here, but nothing outstanding. Mostly mainlines.
The Custom Ford F-150 was a 2-star car and the Forza Bugatti a 2-star car.
I have all the Speed Machines cars. Looking to find more speed though. The Ford GT is the fastest of the series. Did not improve upon my existing 4-star speed time. The Pagini is a modest 1-star performer.
The Custom Corvette Stingray is all-metal and is a 5-star performer (my 26th fastest car). The '71 Porsche 911 was a decent 2-star performer.
This metal bodied car from the Hot Wagons series was a fine 2-star performer.
Strong 3-star car. Metal-base.
2-star car. Metal-base.
Some older Majorette cars. Both really poor performers. Wheel quality poor.
The VW Drag Truck (on the right) was a 5-star car. Beat my existing 5-star version from the Since '68 series. The Stutz Blackhawk qualified as a 2-star car. No upgrades for the Screamin' Hauler or the Chevy Suburban (#55).
A 4-star performer. The 82 gram Airport Rescue is one of the better backwalls. Beat my existing Airport Rescue. Found for $2.
A strong 3-star performer for this metal base car.
