Metal Machines are a discount set of cars released in 2018 and more recently in 2022 under the Zuru name.  The cars are light, but somewhat quick.  They can be found at retailers like Wal-Mart and various discount stores.  They come in 3 packs and single car blisters.  Since they're so inexpensive, I've picked up many of these hoping for some speed.

I believe I have all the models from the initial release and some of the more recent cars.  ​
