A Hong-Kong founded manufacturer of toys, Maisto makes a number of 1: 18 scale cars, but they also produce 1: 64 models. They cars can be found under a number of labels in many retail stores. These tend to be low-priced, plastic models and are typically not good for racing.
The best series I've come across though is the Fantasy Collection released sometime in the 2000's. There were 36 cars released. I have raced 7 of them and two qualified.

My best Maisto Fantasy Collection cars. The 2-Star Snarily and the 1-star HoopDe Coupe.

Snarily came in at 2.567 and the HoopDe Coupe at 2.579. Both Welterweights. My next best was the competitive Mozato and Wing-Ding.
