Siku is a German manufacturer of scale model toys, including diecast vehicles. By the early 80's the cars were made 1:55 scale and were mostly all-metal. The cars to focus on are the ones from the 1980's with the whitewall/deep dish tires. See image. These wheels react really well to graphite, and combined with the larger scale size and nice weight, make the cars really fast. Some of these cars though don't fit on the standard orange track, so I'll call out the models that are too wide.

Below you'll find my latest Siku rankings. I have 34 different models, but there are many more to acquire and a few I would like to upgrade, so this list will evolve.
Key notes/considerations:
Please see information on the home page for more details on testing method, speed tiers, etc.
See the Siku Inventory page for details on call the cars with the whitewall/deep dish wheels.
Key notes/considerations:
- I race on a two-lane, 27 foot Derby Magic track (equivalent to about one-third of a mile). The Derby track is 22% wider than a typical Hot Wheels orange track, allowing me to race some of the wider Siku castings.
- I categorize my cars into speed tiers with 5-Stars being the best. The 5-star performers all have times under 2.500 seconds.
- I've applied graphite to the cars, which really brings out the speed of the Siku cars.

Fastest Siku Cars
Observations:
See the Siku Inventory page for a listing of the cars with whitewall/deep dish wheels.
- Some great speed with this series with 9 cars classified as 5-star performers and 7 cars at 4-stars. The Mercedes 260E Ambulance is tied as my 5th fastest overall car.
- Recent pickups in 2025 include the Mercedes Benz 500 SE, the Audi 200 ST, the Ford Escort GL and the Matra Simca Rancho.
- All the cars are ranked, so no average or slow models so far. That is very impressive.
- All of these cars have a metal base, with the exception of the BMW 633 CSI. Still, that car was pretty quick regardless.
