These are the cars that qualified with a time under 2.600 seconds on my track.  Includes two new 5-Star cars.

​Some new acquisitions from the great Siku line of vintage cars featuring the excellent deep dish, white wall tires.  The Mercedes 260E Ambulance was an upgrade (thanks for the find site friend Jason) and is now my fastest Siku and 5th fastest car overall with  a time of 2.471 seconds.  With its long length and weight of 92 grams, it's an elite performer.  The red Ford Sienna Ghina is a 4-Star car that came in at 2.519 seconds.

Excited to test more vintage (from the 70's) Tomica cars.  They perform well even with their smaller frames.  The yellow Tomica Toyota EX7 is a 4-Star car (2.513 seconds) and the red Maserati Merak is a 3-Star car.

The new Batmobile from the 2024 Batman series.  A 5-Star car and my 2nd fastest Hot Wheels car from the 2020's.  Ran an impressive 2.489.

The Datsun wagon from the Hot Wagons series.  Just finished at the 4-Star level.  

The Quick D-Livery weighs nearly 66 grams.  3-Star car,

A nice mainline performer.  Weighs a solid 37 grams.  3-Star car with a time of 2.544 seconds.

The Later Crater finished with a qualifying time of 2.590, making it a 1-Star car.  

The light (32 grams) Alfa Romeo came in at 2.572 seconds.  I raced a number of mainlines and only the Gordon Murray, Later Crater and Alfa Romeo qualified with times under 2.6 seconds.

I've raced a number of the new Ultra Hots since the first 2022 release.  As much as I appreciate the speed of the original series from the 1980's, these largely plastic models are underwhelming.  The biggest exception so far is the '66 Pontiac GTO.  Metal-based and 66 grams.  Finished as a 3-Star car with a time of 2.551 seconds.

Next best modern Ultra Hots performer.  Okay time of 2.572 seconds.

My best Mattel Pixar performer.  Nearly broke into the 5-Star level, finishing at 2.500 seconds.  A big car at 72 grams.  Does not fit on a standard orange track.

The 52 gram Bob Cutlass is now my third fastest Pixar car.  Note that it's too wide for the standard orange track.

The Pixar Heyday Smokey came in at a respectable 2.573 seconds.  Another Pixar car too big for the orange track.
